With a thoughtful design featuring a vent at the top to create a vortex in case of sudden winds, which also allows the airflow to circulate more freely. The St James includes double jointed seams, heavy-duty binding and its pockets are equipped with PVC inserts and double stitching. In addition, our umbrellas are fitted with sewn-in velcro straps, to ensure your umbrella can be neatly and safely secured when not in use.

The canvas is coated with both a water repellent and antifungal coating. This means in heavy rainfall, the material will not wither and lose its stability. Additionally, the colour will not fade from the sun. All in all, our materials guarantee a long-lasting durability.

Cape umbrellas use 6063 grade aluminum. 6063 grade aluminum has reasonably high tensile properties and a high degree of resistance to corrosion. Used mainly in exterior applications. It is finished off with a 15 micron anodizing application.

The aluminum frames are made using a round centre pole, with a 2 inch diameter. Standard with our automatic lifting system, there will be no ropes, no pulleys and no fuss.
